Kinder music making that’s inclusive, brain changing, and FUN!
Our music classes for preschoolers welcome parents and children aged 3-5 years old. These structured sessions have a musical focus but they’re so MUCH more than that.
Sounds Like This music class uses the wonders of music not just to create confident music lovers (in both parents and kids!) but to help light up all areas of your growing poppet’s noggin (we’re talking language, social, emotional, physical development and more!).
Our music making spaces invite ALL kids, the shy barnacles and the boisterous monkeys, and allows them to show up however they please.

Structured music making sessions for preschoolers that combine engaging play with brain changing benefits
Our music classes for kinder kids are fun sessions with more structured games, designed to build musicianship and nurture creativity.
These sessions are about building confident little music lovers who are discovering rhythm, pitch, tempo, and melody without even knowing it.
We use echo songs and full-bodied games, including movements that transfer weight and cross the midline. They’re brilliant for growing brains and fostering independence.
“I love the way [Julie] engages the children with her extensive repertoire of songs as well as her many instruments, books and other resources. She has a wonderful rapport with her students and also the adults who accompany them. My granddaughter has developed many fundamental skills as well as a passion for music that I’m sure will last.” – Maree Frisby
